We are Enrolled Agents and Certified Public Accountants with significant consulting experience working with distressed businesses. This experience uniquely positions us to advise newer and growing businesses to help them avoid pitfalls and maximize their operational efficiency.
Enrolled Agents are tax professionals who have demonstrated competency in taxation and are directly licensed by the Internal Revenue Service. All enrolled agents specialize in taxation and must complete a minimum amount of continuing education every year to remain licensed. Our professionals are also members of both the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA) and National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), which require a commitment to high ethical standards to maintain membership and advocate for reasonable tax reform. Our professionals are also members of the National Association of Tax Professionals, in order to remain current on the most recent changes in tax law and serve you best.
Certified Public Accountants are accounting professionals who have demonstrated competency in accounting and are licensed by a state board of accountancy. Not all Certified Public Accountants specialize in taxation, nor do all Certified Public Accountants necessarily practice accounting. All Certified Public Accountants must complete a minimum amount of continuing education every year to remain licensed and are required to uphold strict ethical standards as a condition of licensure. Our professionals who are Certified Public Accountants all maintain active licenses, but are primarily serving as specialized consultants and do not hold themselves out as engaging in the practice of accounting.
